KIT Viewer Initial Password

Changing the initial password updates KIT Viewer accounts that have not yet created their own password. KIT users who already created a private password are not changed.

Account-Wide KIT Viewer Password

This separate, Owner-only password allows an authorized KIT number to sign in to the new Viewer without relying on the old KIT registration list. It is not the six-character legacy initial password above.

Viewer access still requires independent, fresh account-level KIT membership verification. Entering a KIT number never gives access to another KIT.

Shared KIT login: Unavailable

Only the current organization's Owner may make this change. Passwords are never displayed or saved on this device. Replacing or disabling the password revokes existing dynamic KIT sessions. Changing the password does not activate source collection or bypass the remaining production approval gates.
